Hah !!! :) Guess so. The problem is depending on how I squish my chart or how many bars are on my chart and whether I use 1 minute or 5-minute or 1000-volume bars it's so damn subjective. It's like my brain and pictures of stock charts don't mesh. I'd much rather trade off of an excel...

But you posted some charts at one time with butterfiles and gartley-looking patterns on them. Maybe you were just trying to give a hint to something. Hope so because I hate patterns. Well there is one I like, 3 symmetrical pushes up or down at an important level. No level around then ignore...

What good are charts as compared to all of the data on an excel spreadsheet instead? One guy can have volume bars, another 1 minute bars, another 5 minute bars. You can make the chart narrow or wide and it looks completely different. People like to buy on engulfing bars or breakout...

Are patterns important? Like butterflies and gartley and triangles and broadening formations and all that stuff out there?

I didn't find the particular pdf I was looking for, but found a different one yesterday and another one today. So you're saying to be patient. I'm still not sure where I would have entered a short. Especially if I missed the huge move down. Maybe at 73.75.

The most important thing for daytrading US Stocks is an adequate range. You want the range to be above 50 cents for as long as possible. Once you get to the part where you actually enter a trade, put on a stop loss, and exit the trade I have no clue. :(

I see no good entries, probably because I don't have a clue what to look for. Jumping in at the open would have been great if you were psychic and put a random stop loss in since there was really no point of reference as to where to put one. I have no idea what those horizontal lines are...

    RBT - Reverse Brain Technology

Sounds interesting to me. I did great in school which when I look back was nothing much more than memorization. Out in the real world, and especially trading, I'm not really doing too good. Guess they call that "book-smart".

Well if that's the answer I won't feel too bad then, because that makes no sense. "Time is patience"...............nah ! Time & patience go hand-in-hand, but one is not the other.

Sure......played Solitaire before. Don't forget.......my brain has been shrunken by our educational system & the majority. I have to regrow it. :)

Yes, I've read that many times in your threads, but it's not clicking what you're getting at..........at least not in my thick head. :) Time is relative?

Mini NQ just $5 per tick. I just wanted to do something for experience while I was saving. When you're daytrading a stock you mentioned getting in & out. It seems almost impossible to pick the tops, get out, get back in lower, etc...... How often do you get in & out when daytrading a...

Can I request a new hint/poem? I don't like this one. :) I was going to say something to do with the "opening" bar, but that has nothing to do with that stuff you wrote up there. Tornado bars? :)

I've tried not using them more than once. Actually I guess it didn't turn out much worse. It was just a quick death as opposed to a slow, torturous death. :(

Well I wasn't going to tell you because I thought you'd stop answering my questions, but I don't have enuf $ for stocks, so I've been trying 1 contract on the NQ. I can't stand swingtrading because I don't want to wake up to a position against me 20 points as I've experienced in the past...
