Is it possible to increase the mathematical expectation?

This is typical of scalping systems that have a 70-90% win rate and the average profit is quite small. In many cases, the commish and fees will turn such a system into a loser. Best solution IMHO: diversify with multiple instruments that are not correlated and multiple algos that are not...

An Excel App to Facilitate Manual Strategy Testing on Tradingview

Still....a lot of manual effort...which is error-prone., Many platforms like Ninja Trader and Multicharts have an analysis module which outputs a vast array of trade statistics...no need to calculate them.

    I keep cutting my winners

Trailing stops can really suck as they often get triggered in a PB. Then you watch to see how your trade could have made so much more. Setting the retracement amount is really important, but not easy to do.

    I keep cutting my winners

You must statistically profile your exits and determine exactly how much money you are leaving on the table by taking an early exit. Then consider using a trailing stop that varies depending on current open position profit. This is a known as a rachet stop and usually works pretty well. Of...

No, that's not the case...you can enter the information as soon as the trade is entered. What you are doing makes accountability almost impossible...no trading measures, stats, nothing but words. What you have is not a JOURNAL, but a DISCOURSE. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/discourse...

Why not just put the trades into a spreadsheet and attach it ? Symbol,EntryDate,EntryTime,ExitDate,ExitTime,EntryPrice,ExitPrice,NumContracts,NetProfit Easy-Peasy. I don't see this as being constructive for white-knuckle, discretionary swing trading.

What's kinda insulting ? BTW: IMHO your posting of trades needs to be separate from the miles, and miles of commentary. Why not get a Slack or Discord or Skype presence just for the trades ?
