Will the S&P hit 1300 in February?

Once again Mr Volente has put a ceiling atop the market. Good work sir.

    An interesting question....

The only possible way that you could make this a valid experiment would be to prohibit constant scalping, options, etc, etc. Let's say you would be alloted x trades per month. As a result, you would only be allowed to enter when you thought you had the highest probability of losing. I also...

Yes and I can draw a random horizontal line each day and go long above, short below this line. Unless I have a good exit technique it's merely mental masturbation. Should I just draw these random lines and post them here sir? Maybe, I can get some attention just like you seem to want.

Prop Shops That Pay You To Trade?

His condescending tone is entirely appropriate. Perhaps if you are going to write books, start a radio show or attempt whatever else it is that you do, you should bone up on your knowledge a bit more. You have been clearly shown that the business model you find so far fetched, in fact, exists...

yes, fair enough lil duckling, I appreciate your humility. I found the tone of our friend, Pekelo to be rather inane. He seemed to be seeking personal gratification and attention in return for some rather mundane concepts and ideas. Obviously, there is nothing wrong with discussing concepts...

How long will the markets ignore oil?

The markets will ignore oil until the media pundits surreptitiously find that oil is still strong with a weaker stock market. Then, it will once again be oil's fault.

I know the truth hurts son. A bit of tough love never hurt anyone. Unfortunately, it appears that you "wasted" all those hours staring at meaningless charts and patterns that elude you. Instead, you could have been practicing your grammar and spelling. Sorry, no I will not fund your trading...

Prop Shops That Pay You To Trade?

Well sir, there are entire trading firms with Class A Clearing Status at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange which engage exclusively in that practice. (i.e. they "back" traders) for percentage profit splits. Perhaps, you should learn a bit more about the "business" before you give advice.

Actually son, there were no inconsistencies in my previous post. What you mistakenly believe are "nuggets" of information are really "old hat". Since you lack any real experience or knowledge, it is fair to say that you are most likely performing a combination of data mining and hindsight...

Prop Shops That Pay You To Trade?

I am afraid you are mistaken OptionCoach. There were, and perhaps still are, some proprietary firms that would bring on traders to trade at wholesale rates in return for larger profit splits. Whether or not the "math" works out is dependent upon the strategy obviously.

Why not keep it to yourself then sir? Oh, I forgot. It's because you mistakenly assume that any of this has real value. You probably also believe that you are the only person in the world to find any of it as well. The sad reality is that most of what you feel you are "sharing" was...

Options as long term investments for leverage usage

Did I not just answer your elementary question? The market maker is on the other side of your trade. He/she provides the market for those illiquid options that you are looking to trade.

    The bears were wrong

It would appear that the mere timing alone of this thread would warrant serious consideration for The Donkey Award. However, the committee has decided that the near constant rebuttals provided by "Kicking" have nearly sealed his fate. Therefore, the Donkey Award for the month of January...

    my model for indices

The dangers of a low volatility environment. However, I must add that it was encouraging to see the downside velocity finally equal the upside velocity of a few weeks back. In recent times, we have witnessed entire days or weeks of downside corrective moves compromised in 1-2 days as the...

    US equity monday moves

Son, throw away the technical analysis books, you've been sold on the hype. You are arguing with a few of the guys who have some experience navigating these treacherous markets. You would be best served by assuming the fetal position and sucking off of their collective titty. Good day.

This is not the sort of oversight one would anticipate from one of the largest debt traders in Central America. Better get your act together son.
