    6% return per month

And if you can't stand our criticisms what made you think your statment should have passed unchallenged in the first place.   These are reasonable and polite questions.

    6% return per month

Nobody here has been either rude.... ....or offensive. We are just expressing our concerns. And we all deserve an answer to our questions, in THIS board. After all you should have expected this kind of reaction before you started the thread.

    6% return per month

Ovations, You must understand our concerns: many of us, including me, are still down the length of a few margin calls and try hard to breakeven. Its pretty logical we get pissed when we read your statements, so please, if you are for real get back to your keyboard and answer our basic...

Increasing fixed income by investing in options

I don't consider option on indices good value for money. Your total exposure to losses from DIA ITM call is more than 10% and purchasing the index with a stop loss, although would expose you to risks associated with catastrophes, would impose more or less the same margin requirements. And...

Increasing fixed income by investing in options

100% protection doesn't exist: option decay with passing of time and even if the underlying moves in your favor, it has to do so in a certain fashion in order for you to make money. If the underlying move too slow options can and do expire worthless, although this is usually a characteristic...

Will the FED Stop(or Pause) Raising Rates on the 29th Sept ?

I think Mr G. may pause but just for this month.

Where do you put your stops in at?

Its also worth having a look at volumes when considering your stops: some software offers you the facility of placing stops that are hit only if there is good volume. This way you'd avoid to suffer the psychological damage of having your trade taken out with a big loss on sudden spikes or...

    Doublea's Trading Strategies

Those were different times. Now, we were stuck in a range for months on end and until no long ago the ES was continuosly rotating around the same prices. We coldnt get above 1200 for ages on the ES and I dont think the market is gonna give up those gains without a fight, therefore IMO there...

    Doublea's Trading Strategies

Doublea, I wouldn't go long just because the economy looks fine, but if I see bargain prices that are @key support levels and I know there's nothing wrong with the markets general health, then I'd go long for sure. But we are here to agree and also disagree, arent we?

    Doublea's Trading Strategies

On the other hand I am very interest in what you are doing and althought I mainly trade equities I also follow closely and trade the ES and I like your approach. I find this index to always react to particular numbers and to respect them all the time. using just S/R and price action as...

    Doublea's Trading Strategies

Fondamentals tell me the ES aint gonna drop below 1200 any time soon. As a matter of fact I dont belive we'll ever even get close to 1200. End even if that was to happen, traders would jump into the market at those prices, knowing full well how cheap they really are given that the economy...

GM - how long before bankruptcy?

You are perfectly right: automakers derive much of their profits from sellling part replacement. I had an Alfa Romeo buisness back in the late '80s and the sale of auto parts kept me in buisness. Altought not for long.

Is it just me, or is this market doing some funky things...

Manipulation? I dont think so. For Banks and inst today is another day at work. They have to keep it cool: just business as usual. And sure they know 10% of market cap aint gonna be wiped out from the market just because nof Katrina.
