would you make the same order if we are talking about just nyse and nasdaq stock feeds? also what would that order be the same if price were not an issue. i keep reading that cqg data is better than real tick and esignal. any info would be of help thx

basically i have read in various posts on here that Realtick has similar lag issues to eSignal but most of these posts were in a thread dated in 2005. Any recent experiences? Otherwise I seem to read that CQG is a good alternative but I'm guessing more expensive than eSignal or Realtick...?

From what I've read so far, I understand that you need to have an account with TradeStation the brokerage to get the 8.3 software. My question is do you have to use their brokerage services? Or similar to 2000i can you then hook it (with some programming) to your own broker's execution api...
