Couldnt get much going this am. Had a good short when it failed to continue. Had some good entries as well but kept getting stopped out at BE. Learning to hold winners though. This last short at 82.23 was a good area to be short from but it just wouldnt break (book kept swiping up and down)...

Wise words ND. I agree with taking any P/L window off the screen as well. Instead of focusing on what the trade is doing or where you should be focusing people usually focus on the $$ which is usually not good for most traders.

Ivan, This isnt your thread. Your telling the OP on how HE needs to trade (when you really have no clue as to HIS method/his risk parameters etc..) Maybe you just focus on yourself. I am no expert but I wouldnt think that telling other people how to trade their method will serve you that...

I have that marked up on my chart as well. Thx for sharing AMT really appreciate it. I think one of the key things in this long trade is that its backed up by a major zone (seems to be helpful to keep that in mind rather then trade the middles..)

I saw that pop in dax and es held lower. Dax did sell off for your first fills but its heading higher now (I didnt expect it to take off like this.. ) Gave you enough room for a b/e trade though I am sure. Dax is pushing higher right now and es isnt yet to its previous highs..

I figured out what the backfill data problem is. Its on I/RT's end as they responded to my email to them. This is their response - We are aware of this and should have a new version out soon...hopefully today or tomorrow...which will correct the problem. DTN fixed to a different source...

AMT mentioned he would be out the rest of the week spending time with his family. I can only speculate but on the remaining positions he has closed them since they came back to his entry and is probably standing aside waiting for the next zone to put a position on.

Nice short AMT. Double top confirmed it in PA (on retest they couldnt take it through) and CD confirmed that may be it for a bit or at least a nice sell off. Beautiful.

Their is also divergence in the CD at the HOD today in ES. Even on a intraday basis CD can be useful. Nice shorts AMT, the test occured right at the zone you spoke of. Nice job.

Manly, IB will never give you proper CD data due to the way it gathers its data in "snapshots." Its not a full tick feed.
