What are the innate characteristics that all good traders should have? Obviously this is a fairly broad question but I definately cannot answer this myself with confidence. Anything you have to say would be helpful.

I actually just got an offer from Generic myself. I beleive there is a non-compete in the contract.

What are the best (most admired/prestigious) prop trading firms, if there are any, in NYC? What does anyone know about Generic, AB Watley and First New York Securities? Please share your info with me as I am trying to decide on a firm to seek out. Thanks
