I usually find that crossing the bid on isld by .02-.10c will get me out. If not then I will market out for half of the position and keep trying for the other half on ecn's. Many times the nyse execution ends up better than my ecn sale prices but you just never know.

I just never liked how Citrix is running off of the server (rather than a standalone program). Every mouse click or key press has a slight delay. Although I do like how Citrix automatically loads every symbol, and has a very strong data feed.

I pay $100/mo for VPN and nothing for Citrix. IMO VPN is much better for remotes if you have a strong DSL/Cable connection. I use Citrix just as a back up.

I think anyone under 25 with no major expenses and a true desire to trade should give it a try. Even if you fail it won't affect the rest of your life...so go for it!

Let's assume 85% of daytraders never make it. That leaves 15% for those of us who make money. Using the 1% number that means almost 7% (1/15) of profitable daytraders, make >$200k. That sounds about right to me.

Don is this new cancel thing anything more than a "cancel all" button? I know Redi used to have delay problems with that function, so now it is just fixed....or something better?
