A suggestion to get brokerages to clarify their security protocol

lol - if their systems are compromised because of a ransomware attack the last thing they'd let happen is let you or anyone else do anything via a thid party. You need to assume: a) Your open positions are left open. b) Orders placed and visible on the order book on the exchange will be...

    Pinnacle Data

Try Norgate Data. Individual contracts + continuation. They don't cover every market out there but they do have the liquid ones you would actually want to trade.

    NXCORE latency

For stocks, it's about 2ms (time difference between exchange timestamp and nxcore timestamp). For an AWS-Northern Virigina add about 11ms to receive/process incoming data (excluding your own algo time). Could probably get a closer server, but that is fine for my use.

The Reason Why Stock Dividend Is Bad And Meaningless

Nonsensical response to a nonsensical post, with casual mention of a bucket shop broker.

The Reason Why Stock Dividend Is Bad And Meaningless

You're the one confusing them. You're even saying that the stock price shuld change on the payment date, but that's really not the way it works (hint: it's the ex-date). You have no idea how it works. Stop trying to tell other people how it works, because you really don't know.

The Reason Why Stock Dividend Is Bad And Meaningless

Yes I do have an answer for you: You have no idea what you're doing. You are conflating dividend paying stocks with capital appreciation.

The Reason Why Stock Dividend Is Bad And Meaningless

I was pointing out the OP's terminology is incorrect. I have no view on why you bought something or how they performed. Only you can answer that. Not sure why you're asking me. Seems like you don't have much of a trading plan though.

The Reason Why Stock Dividend Is Bad And Meaningless

So much fail in this thread on terminology - especially you Fiftium. Shame. Stock dividends are not paid in cash - they are paid IN STOCK. It's basically a tiny stock split. It has no impact on the company's finances at all, and just dilutes shareholdings. Cash dividends are paid in cash...

Confused about live market data providers and packages.

The FINRA Trade Reporting Facillities do indeed report dark pool trades to both CTA and UTP depending upon where the security is listed. I don't trade any Pink Sheets/OTC stuff, but I don't think OTC Markets is a trading venue - it's only a quotation venue, just to confuse matters further...

Confused about live market data providers and packages.

You're conflating a listing on Nasdaq with trading on Nasdaq. Trades on Nasdaq-LISTED securities are reported on tape C. Trades on NYSE-LISTED securities are report on Tape A. Trades on for listings on any other exchange (NYSE American, NYSE Arca, Cboe, IEX etc.) securities are shown on Tape...

Can you find the fundamentals of stocks that no longer exist?

SEC reports are available back to 1994. However, this is not nicely packaged or standardized. Vendors of that data also normalize various figures to ensure that the accounting is treated the same across all of the securities covered. For example, in the tech boom, various operating losses...
