The Fdax is great but very dangerous. If you forget it, it will brutally remind you of it. I lost $15000 on monday on a sudden drop with big averaging down.

I agree RedDuke, the Dax is excellent between 3am to 6 (europe morning) and then from 9 to 12 (following US opening). Though the first part is impossible to trade from the eastern US on a regular basis (or you are really motivated !). Apart from these hours, volatility is reduced especially...

The FDax is open from 8am to 10pm in europe »» from 2am to 4pm ET. So either you wake up very early and you stay up very (very) late. That's why I am still looking for something in the evening (more convenient) but Global futures doesn't propose any asian futures...

For Europe, the Dax is great. By the way even though I am in the eastern time zone, I prefer to trade it rather than the american futures !
