This is what I thought...and its ridiculous that something that is freely available everywhere on the internet requires a data subscription within TWS. Just Stupid.

I know there any dozen of websites I can use to find the info. But if I dont have to leave my platform then I would like not to. And unless Im totally missing something is there really no way to see upcoming earnings dates for a company within TWS?

Not gonna process everything in your post but simply ask why you're using TWS class and not. The newer updated Mosaic one and the options tools in there which are more polished? Perhaps some of your issues are addressed there by simply using the modern UI

Well unless you're a heavy hitter with shit ton of idle cash I imagine the no commissions would be more noticed (if actively trading I should say) and as for executions they still have to hit NBBO. ALSO... IBKR Lite users don't have to pay data fees either right?

So remind me again benefits of having pro over lite then?

How/where are you seeing this? Cause if this is the case then pro users should have the option to use the zero commission trading routes

To a certain extent you're right. But for a couple different reasons I want to stick with TWS and not have to use multiple platforms for different things. The things holding me back as a trader are not my software. But it does get tiresome when there's a version of tws that seems rock solid...

On the subject of it being a drawing issue I also have the issue of trend lines being drawn wrong in different time frames. I'll draw a trend line on the daily touching the bottom of the candle whicks but on the 5 min or 1 min it will be all off. Created a ticket about it... That was 3 weeks...

Not sure whats going on...restarted TWS....restarted my computer...But when switching tickers the platform hangs....initially thought just froze and was gonna need to reboot. But it kicks in after 15-20 seconds. This is happening over and over when switching tickers. Im not talking the usual...

No, no settings that I know off. It was just resolved for me. Are you on tws LATEST?

The x100 was resolved in an update and block filtering works now. The color coding being limited to up ticks or down ticks remains and it sucks.

The whole point of using hotkeys is not wanting/needing windows with buttons to execute things. So its annoying that whenever using a hotkey to execute a trade the chart trader window pops up on whichever chart I executed the trade on. But the extra bit of WTF to all this is that it happens...

Its not for me...I just switched to a new ticker and you can see the 1min charts vwap is wrong on the right compared to the min and the quotezone vwap. The 5 min chart has no premarket data...the 1 min has premarket data...Not sure if thats causing the glitch....soon as I refresh the 1 min...

Where do you see average true range at IB? I haven't seen a way to filter for that
