    Exit position using Price Action

Sorry for butting in, but the Price Action part of the title caught my interest, and there appears to be some confusion over these channels. Price moves up and down. Sometimes these movements become trends. These trends can be tracked by trendlines. However, trendlines do not necessarily...

Huge majority of you here are losers? Agree?

That's an assumption on your part, one which is unsubstantiated. Be that as it may, one need not "blow out" his account in order to be a failing trader. If that were true, one could not continue to be a failing trader for as many years as so many do. Remember also that many failing traders...

    You're kidding, right?

Bride of If You Can Draw A Straight Line

The lines will help you keep it mechanical and unemotional. However, there are other aspects to the drill. If for example price has trouble making a new swing high and holding it, as at 1012, then trouble may lie ahead. Better to wait for all that to sort itself out and provide you with a better...

Bride of If You Can Draw A Straight Line

Don't forget about it, but focus on what buyers and sellers are doing rather than just lines. Buyers can't get any traction, but sellers are unable to pull price below the LSL. So you end up with a sideways move and a lateral DL. It's not a TR bec there is no defined upper limit. But it sure...

Huge majority of you here are losers? Agree?

Whether or not somebody else is bullish or bearish or neutral and what their entry points and stop placements might be is irrelevant. If you've done the research and testing, then you know what to do. If you haven't, you don't. It's that simple. You can stop losing today if you really want...

Follow the low points. Note how they're bending to the right, like a branch that's being pulled toward the ground.

No, this is a hindsight DL. Draw them as you would have in real time.

Huge majority of you here are losers? Agree?

If you're serious rather than seeking a rationalization, look at the questions you asked about ZS and CL. Apparently you've done little research and even less testing and therefore have no trading plan. So the first steps are research and testing. If you don't want to do that, then you will...

No, sorry. If you arc your DL, it isn't broken.

Bride of If You Can Draw A Straight Line

These halting continuations trap the undisciplined. Note the arc to the low points of the bars. Buyers can't escape and keep getting dragged back into what is essentially a tack to sideways. Just leave it alone until they decide what they want to do.

Not here. There is no decision to be made. If the DL is broken, scratch the trade and wait for the next opportunity. If you can't do that, then you won't progress. Nor is there a re-entry. Swing points are not in play in this thread.

Bride of If You Can Draw A Straight Line

No. There no SAR since the SL was broken. Therefore, the focus switches to a long. You took that and were SO. However, there's no further short unless and until there's a RET after the break of the DL. And there wasn't. So no trades. Now there's been a break of the latest SL, so the focus...

Doesn't matter. I usually read a newcomer's early posts to get an idea of where they are but didn't in this case. Now I have, so I know why he's losing. Sorry for taking up space unnecessarily.

Not necessarily. I know people who've been at this for up to nine years and can barely cover expenses, and yet they are devoted to these websites.

And what difference will that make to you if you're looking for ways to change your situation? Whether or not anybody else is losing is irrelevant. Unless you're seeking a misery loves company situation. If that's the case, you won't have any trouble at all finding new friends.
