Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

OJ Broke out 10%. I'm looking for a basing out in OJ for the next few months. I believe it may take some time for a nice OJ base to be built. Then I'll look for longs on a big retracement back to the downside. Coffee is a little tricky in here, but I believe that a stop-market to buy at...

    Ib options stop question

What about a stop-limit order? You can use that. I think that using a stop-market order for options is just plain ignorant. A stop-limit order is safer for you because then the MMs can not screw you as badly.

    Ib options stop question

If you enter a stop-market order to an options exchange...guess what happens? 1) The market maker has a market order and he screws you. 2) Maybe IB is screwing something up.

Something to Think about - 2003

It's called INFLATION in the face of a dying USD. IF you price the SPX in terms of Euros, the move up was not nearly as pronounced.

Valuing Commodity Options using Stochastic processes

Let me state the obvious. When it comes to pit traded commodity options, your best valuation method is the "good old boy system" where you have a great relationship with a pit broker. Those guys in the options pits will do special deals with each other, and it is really unlike anything...

    w.d. gann

Gann is basically about perfect symetry and perfect projections. You should check out http://www.j-chart.com That program is based on perfect equilibriums in the market. It's not exactly Gann based, but it would simplify things quite a bit.

    True Legendary Trading Stories

Yeah, my buddy who is an options volatility expert claims that before 1987, you could hedge your entire stock portfolio for 2% per year. Then the vols blew up after 1987.

Hey GAtrader, I plan to ride my bicycle around when Gasoline hits $5-$8 per gallon. What do you think about Natural Gas for public sector cars?

Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

I agree with the comments about OJ in a classic psychological bottoming process because OJ farmers are in a panic. HOWEVER, prices can become way more irrational than traders are willing to think. OJ prices can still tumble a lot more. I'm looking for OJ to form a basing out pattern in...

Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

Yeah, I know..I think SBUX will go down the tubes if coffee takes off huge. But that doesn not answer his question. His question was which coffee stocks would take off. Since DDRX is a coffee producer, the stock might really surge. Look at a monthly chart on DDRX and coffee. The charts are...

Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

I found a coffee stock with the ticker "DDRX" They are coffee producers so I think that the stock might take off if coffee really rips up.

Coffee and Orange juice - long term outlook

Coffee is on a come back. I think that we are forming a breakout. We had a nice pullback right to where I had expected Reference this thread when we were talking about Coffee and OJ a while back: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28339&perpage=6&pagenumber=5 I'm...

    elwave 7.1 any comments

I kind of agree with what Arch is saying. Short term wave analysis does not always work so well in real time. Longer term wave analysis can work very well, unless you are Bob Prechter from 1994 to 2004, then wave analysis has not really worked so well.

    J-chart

I still think that we are going to reach the 1107 target to the downside. But as I've said in earlier posts, I can not dedicate any more time to posting about J-Chart. I tried posting for a few days on ET, and it is just killing me between having to change BSAM's diapers and actually...

    J-chart

I'm doing my chart posting for free so that I can show people how a new tool can help them. I have no intentions of making money off of my analysis that I post to my site. That's all. But I really do not have much more time in the day to be looking at elitetrader.com. There is just not enough...
