    Bitcoin thread anyone?

Does pets.com business model rival what the implications of BTC are? People keep using the word bubble, well bubble based on what? I say it with a smile on my face because I have seen BTC drop 50% in hours, so anyway...

    Bitcoin thread anyone?

No, I would have though around 100,000 USD if I never gambled away BTC. I also have 125 coins locked up in Mt Gox from the bitcoinica disaster (google it). I have another 30 or so BTC in my current possession, and 60 LTC I just bought.. I sold way too many BTC @ $26 on the way up.. really...

Look at the historical logarithmic chart. We are not in bubble territory yet by a long shot, IMO. We may also go straight back down to $75 - $50 range. Doesn't really matter, you should be dollar cost averaging this market anyway.

    Bitcoin thread anyone?

No offense taken, but don't take offense to this. This seems like an opinion of someone whom hasn't researched well enough the future and current potential of BTC. 1. Subjective 2. Don't you believe by making new ASIC chips and hardware designs (that miners use) help benefit the future...

    Bitcoin thread anyone?

This is a good question. Makes it very, VERY hard to sit on your hands if you have been holding coins for a while. But, after gambling away too many and selling way too many, I have learned my lesson. To see if BTC is really in a bubble (by my guesstimate, not yet), I would look at a...

    Bitcoin thread anyone?

Bitcoin is traded on many exchanges, the main one being Mt. Gox. For a good understanding of what bitcoin is, I would visit bitcointalk.org and browse through the newbie section. Much better explained than I could type. go here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=7269.0

    Bitcoin thread anyone?

Do you think if the shit really hit the fan anyone's gold at that point is worth a dime? You could probably do much better with canned food's and ammunition at that point. These are "shit hitting the fan" situations from my POV. Plus, let's say an EMP shuts off the power, do EMP's erase usb...

    Bitcoin thread anyone?

Yeah, I don't think it is like plug and play though, lol. That is basically why I haven't done this. You will most likely have to join a larger pool etc. There is a lot of stuff to know..

    Bitcoin thread anyone?

I think some of these points are more valid than others. 1. Internet goes out.. ok. Well, that is a real problem. Doesn't mean your coins will be erased though as everyone keeps the entire ledger with a full bitcoin client running. When the internet gets turned back on, however...
