    I thought the same thing. My data comes from IB and the opening price I had for the 1st November was 584.9. AR's results for the rest of the month were pretty similar to mine though. AR, Thanks for starting this thread. Very interesting stuff to a learner like me.

    bbc, I have been trading both HK and US markets for the last couple of years. As def says, when the US switches back from daylight saving their shutdown is in Hong Kong's lunch break. In the US winter the Hong Kong server shuts down in the last hour of US trading. What I do is change servers...
