    CL is wild :-(

Both weekly API and DOE reports are highly volatile and not very reliable. The good way is the 4-week average. But markets trade on the short-term news and data. So you get the ideas. CL actually is a safe market. It has been stuck in $60 to $80 for a long time. We should see it getting...

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

I do not know yet. Win7 claims support for multiple video cards from different vendors. I have no needs right now. I'll try when I get some spare time...

The bottom might be in for natural gas

Remember that most of the drillings have been shale and deep-water offshore. These wells have much longer life than traditional and shallow-water wells. You do not need so many rigs. But NG price is not correlated to fundamantals nicely...

    computer question

You can buy another HD and install the XP on it if you get the XP license. But I do not think you want to open the HD cage to swap it out. Best way is to set up dual boot. But it works best if you have XP, then install Vista later. Not sure what if Vista would allow you to install XP on it...

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

Got the Matrox G450 MMS card. I disconnected the fan since it is loud and there is decent airflow in the case. It suits my need perfectly. With the Win7 upgrade, I may be able to use both ATI PCIe and Matrox G450 in the same machine, to drive 6 monitors or more. Quad video card is a good...

    Windows 7

Running Win 7 RTM release, very stable. All hardware drivers are installed properly. Only problem is Symantec driver and it will be fixed soon (per Symantec). Also running Vista on another machine. With the SPs, no bugs, very stable. Both Vista and Win7 are much better than XP, and I do not...

    UNG v. QG

The arb would not work, at least for now. Unless they start liquidating the UNG. The UNG is like a closed-end fund. The 10% premium is just insane. You can just buy a QG or NG contract and roll it. The UNG investors are insane anyway, to see price droping to the record low and low again.

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

I read quite a bit discussion here about large widescreen LCDs. I do not know how people manage the 30" LCDs. The widescreen is going to be inevitable, but will be a hard transition to me. I've been using 19" regular for many years, and happy with 3-4 regulars at work. I trade mostly energy...

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

I'll add one or two 19" regular LCDs to my two existing 19" ones. They run 1280x1024. I have no plan to go to widescreen until the old ones die. I'll go with DVI first, but can live with VGA. The nVidia NVS 440 would cost $250 or more. I'll wait for a later time. I'm short on PCI video card...

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

Just ordered a Matrox G450 card. It won over the nVidia 400 with the 128 MB RAM, instead of the 64MB RAM. Both decent prices. It is supported by both Vista x86 and x64. This will keep me going for quite some time. I see the next upgrade to i5/i7 is at least 1 year or 2. By that time, most of...

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

I think I'll get a either a nVidia 400 or Matrox G450. So I should not have imcompatibility issue unless the driver sucks. But XP and Vista have been good with older video cards. when I upgrade to i5/i7 system, I'd plug in my dual ATI PCIe cards. I hope they will work. If not, I can still...

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

No plan to go +5 monitors. But I'd be sure that the card (or cards) would work. I'd have no use of the 2-port cards (like 285 and 290) if they do not work in my setup. I already have two identical ATI PCIe cards (dual port ATI X1xxx series). So I won't have any backup issue. When I upgrade...

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

The ATI PCIe card is compatible with Vista. Vista also installed the driver for the old PCI card. I'm sure the PCI card would work alone with Vista. But they just won't work together. Some people may have luck with PCIe and PCI mixed. It has a lot to do with BIOS and drivers. I did see...

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

I only see the 290 and 285 with PCIex16. Can I use the full PCIe card in the short PCIe slot? I'm not joking, just asking.

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

Well, I could replace the mainboard with another one that has two video PCIe slots. But with that $, I can just invest in the nVidia 420 or 440 cards. For 16MB/monitor, the resolutions and color depths would be very limited. It may be good with 19" LCD, but not sure about larger ones. I...

PCI Video Works with PCIe Video?

I have a a decent P5 dual-core with 8GB RAM and I'm happy with it. It runs Win Vista x64. Want to wait for some time for the new i5 or i7. The full-length Asus mainboard has only one full PCIe slot, 3 shorter PCIe (?) slots and 3 PCI slots. I currently use an ATI PCIe card to drive two 19"...

What is the Winning Rate of Pure Mechanical System?

If the system entirely written based on technical indicators, money management, order mannagement, and all other self-imposed rules. Any reported success? Of course, we would never know of the failed systems. Just wonder. Thanks.

Money and Order Management with NG

The energy traders have seen the volatility of NG. Even the ATR measure is not adequate in today's market. With the huge swing, no stop order is safe. The big spikes can take all with them, both up and down. Just wonder how you folks do money management with NG. If you are stopped out, then...
