depends what market. the "liquid" markets have plenty of volume on their open - check out the Eurex Bund, Eurostoxx, etc. Loads there unless you you are trading large (non-retail) size. Markets like ES are practically 24 hr anyway - MOO doesn't really make sense on such markets.
