    hi. you put it as traders are using only support and resistance in the decision of getting into a position. I'm sure that this is not what the author thought about. a good trader use more indicators and technics before he press the sell/buy button so there for he doesn't has to fear the s/r lines.

    the volume also can be used to see if the current price is good for sellers or buyers. the volume dots on Bookmap shows it and in that case it can give more certainty for a reversal.

    The issue is at what price people will want to buy or sell, and that is what creating the reversal. Bookmap shows the price range were there is an exhaustion of buyers or sellers, which can reflect a shift in the trend.

    along with technical analysis to see support and resistance areas, a majority of sellers/buyers can suggest a reversal. Bookmap heat map shows it the best.

    I use the heat map in Bookmap to get a clearer view of were the area of majority buyers/sellers and check if this price will hold in accordance to past behavior.
