Also can you post the guidlines for getting quotes on the European markets? I would like to start following them but have had some trouble figuring out the symbols.

OK here is a really dumb question. I ended up getting nextrend, which seems perfect, but I can't seem to figure out the SP 500 symbol. SPIC and SPX don't work. Am I an idiot or is the program messed up?

I am looking for a service that can do intraday charting in real time. I would only need basics like bollinger bands, stochastics, price channels etc...Nothing fancy like backtesting or order entry. I use IQ chart right now, but they don't do price channels. I would like it to update live...

Not everyone can become a succesful trader, but a college degree can guarantee most people a comfortable life.

I think the thing that got people going(at least me) is the suggestion that this is a value equitable to Grad school. As a recent college grad myself, who has blown a few trading accounts, I know that my degree is much more worthwhile than a little trading experience.

The thing is, they aren't even day trades. They are positions from a few days ago I closed out.

Strange...In my IB account when I sell something the proceeds aren't listed uner "cash" until the next day. I haven't tried to trade it yet, maybe I should.

I was generalizing their rating levels, not stating the requirements to become one. Sorry if I was misunderstood. In my experience players will generally have higher FIDE ratings than USCF. Damn I never thought I would get called out on chess.

I have a rating, but as you may have realized this is little money in chess. Unless, of course, you don't let your rating realize its full potential. :) I've made some pretty good money at chess just playing once or twice a year for money. Nothing to live off of, but good cash every now and...

I guess I am a little skeptical. It seems with all the lines and circles and shapes and grids, something is bound to land on a key support or resistance point.

A tip from a fellow broke dude: Buy an option and hold it. It will keep your account trading.
