Still looks like a good R/R with a long entry at 1.5887 and a 10 pip stop. I won't be taking it though...

Glad I reduced position, stop taken out at B/E on remaining position. Think I'll stay flat now with a small profit for the day. The fireworks may or may not be on the way though...

Reduced position to half. Will be an OK day now if it goes down below 1.5885 and a great day if it spikes up...

Nice wedge breakout. I'm long from 1.5885. A good play for news days is to hold on to such a trade and with a bit of luck be 20-40 pips in the black by news time. Then set your stop to breakeven and sit back for the fun. You'll either be B/E or into the stratosphere.

FWIW, this seems a likely scenario to me as well.

Morning/afternoon all. Yes, could be an interesting day with ECB news and NFP in one day. On the other hand, you never know how much of the news has alreay been priced in. Play it as it comes and good luck!

Sloppy day so far as we wait to see whether we will break through to the upside or bounce off 1.5840. Fundamentals and news could make today and tomorrow an interesting ride.

Hope you guys have been catching the action today. I'm a bit frustrated at the money I left on the table even though I am in the black. Still, that's better than being frustrated and worse because you are donating money to Mr Market...

7.5 spread was only for a short time when the EUR CPI estimate was released. Happens all the time with oanda around news releases.

Until it isn't. Then gold will be king.
