0/30 swing for huge gains..Big drawdowns but big pay days.
Even at $7m... year 1 -25% Feed then B*S*...keep collecting funds.
Year 2: +70% = $1.47m+ for you.
Year 3: Flat.
Not a bad way to do it.
I've heard that was sooo pre 2007? More like 2/10 nowadays?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
think you mean 2/20 and 2.9M?
$100 AUM
2% MNGT fee= $2m
12 R.O.I. = $12M
10% of that = $1.2M
= $3.2M - $1.0 - $1.5 M Expenses = $1.7M+
Slim margins...but doable I guess. Anything less than $100M AUM
wouldn't be worth it.
As for the "free time " and stress...that's not true. I'd sleap a lot better at...
Isn't there a middle ground here?
ManagingHNW individual in a "trade for your-self" environemt?
So instead of a managing INST. money at say $100M and the massive overheads in that.
Go for H.N.W. (friends/family) take a bit more risk and try to manage $5m - $10M?
A.U.M...
Smoker. Wow you know your stuff.
What kind of %'s are asset allocaotrs/ institutions looking for?
Like 12% per annum less than 7% drawdowns?
Or 18%+ per annum less than 10% d.D's etc?
Both?
We had this "discussion" before with a very nasty little poster (who thought he was...
It looks very "catch 22"
I don't think it's even worth managing anything less than $100M. but the "hoops you are going to have to jump through" to get there look astronomical.
Yep living in dream land their kid. The wealthy/big players aren't interested in newsletters....you are left with the get rich crowd. Who want to make 50% a month, no losses and for just $27.99 per month with bonuses...

But I wonder if ther'es possibly some good services out there or is EVERYONE a scam? I am in touch with another now I'll see how they go.
What these "scammers" do not realize is.....it's actually easier (in the long term) to run a legit/honest business than short term...

Hi,
What are the regulations on US citizens opening foreign forex brokerage accounts? It seems they can no longer do it?
Why did this change?
So are U.S. citizens only allowed to open forex accounts from brokers in the USA?
I presume foreign FX money managers cannot solicit...
geez...and that isn't high enough?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
the UK still allows high leverage, 500:1 ? in the US max is 50:1 Canada 33:1 which in
part is why I trade futures.
WHERE? All forex trading signals? Me? You? Not sure?
It's like saying "why would a successful trader ever manage O.P.M."? Duh.
Anyhow my original question remains if someone with some intelligence could reply. Thx...
i asked if anyone knew of any good trading signals (fx) you people can't even seem to read my post.
Zulu trade.....do they offer forex trading signals?
It seems to have matured in the past few years. Pick a big stable broker and you are fine.
The biggest problem ws the complete newbies wading in, robot trading, on 100:1+ leverage! Then screaming like hell when they lost their "3k" life savings.
