One more thing, the CME considers Sunday Night through Tuesday's close as one trade date- Jan 20th. So while, Globex halts on Monday morning, it reopens on Monday evening and orders placed on the system on Sunday or Monday will work through Tuesdays close.

Thanks for the response man! I too always felt that monthly reporting/performance fee payment was in sync with the KISS principle!

Aaron, do you find that some investors balk at monthly performance fees. I have heard that institutional investors especially those who have you trade through a managed account will insist on quarterly or even annual performance fees. What are your experiences in this regard? Thanks.

Very correct. if you have a well defined quantitaive system with risk rules and position size rules, the 'system does not and should not care whether you trade 1 million shares or a 1 lot. Of course this assumes that your system has made allowances for slippage and market capacity/liquidity...
