well, more volume usually means more movement, no? i mean any gap will be closed by people making money out of the difference in roll-over arbitrage thing. i don't think the ES moves the SPX

doesn't the ES follow the SPX which means if somebody buys 10.000 contracts and pushes it 1 point away from the SPX, the market will push it back to make a quick bux. All it will do is increase the volume.

how come you only trade 13 contracts when you said you've been trading for 3 years and this method makes you $1000 a day? And you've only been posting a blog for half a year :eek:

i dont mean an index crash, i mean a computer network crash of the CME so that the ES goes down temporarily, so that you get stuck in positions, and then the index moves against you what do you do

if there arent people willing to make mistakes, then there wont be any trades. the bid and ask will just move one way of the other way without any trades actually going through. basically the money you make comes solely from other traders making mistakes.

Im guessing the whole CME will be down in a crash, what are the cheap margin costs hedges? im guessing a crash could also last overnight, what is the cheapest overnight margin hedge?

What does a non-clearing FCM do? basically the same as an IB, yes?

hey, youre using the same program like me :D. Very nice program do you use the bracket orders from the charttrader? I also have a $4500 account and I am also newbie. So far I'm up $200 though in one month. and I only trade the ES if I look at the DOM it's busier so that's better???

i heard reading not the supply and demand, but reading the last trade is helpful. for example if last trade is 1000 sold, then you know a big buyer sold. by the way, does anybody know how you can figure out if those big orders are buy or sell orders?

what is constituted as a break and how do I learn it?:)
