I asked a friend of mine that knows more than I. He told me that it is random. He has found no logic in it. Sometimes there is a background, sometimes there is not. If it really bothers you, buy a mac :)

If I am waking up my computer from sleep, I get the password screen without my background. If I wake it up after the screen saver activates I get the password box over my background picture. Screen Saver - background, sleep - no background.

You need to find out what codec was used and make sure you have it downloaded. Post the link for the video and someone might be able to help.

I looked into Edward Jones. There isn't any thinking in the job. It is all about following their script and selling their products. You do not do any of your own investing. All of your investments must be signed over to them. And put into their investment strategy.

I just use Excel. I also use Think or Swim. I just export the info from TOS and import it into Excel. Very simple.

I deal with my broker via e-mail all the time. Are you saying this is a bad thing? Why? I use e-mail, phone and online chat, depending on the situation. Should I only be using the phone?
