hi, Does anyone here trade K200 options ? What broker do you use besides IB ? I understand that Hyundai Futures charges 0.15% of option value with no min per trade. Whilst IB charges 0.2% with 1000KRW min per trade. Any experiences with Hyundai Futures ? thanks

sideshowbob and dcraig thanks for your responses. I was thinking of this scenerio recently. So what if say, IB's connection to the exchange goes down, it could be their service provider or their own internal problem. ( to me, their service provider's problem is IB's problem ) As a result...

Pardon me for asking but why should divergences work ? Is it simply because, it is a pattern that is observed to work ? IF it is, then it would probably be simple to do a historical backtest to objectively confirm this. Else is there any other reasons why it should work ? thanks

My assumption was that this is only a problem with IB and not the other brokers. So if this is the case, whatever the problem is named, outage or anything else, the fault lies with IB. So if this is the case would they compensate ? thanks

I am an intraday trader. I only get out of a position for profit if 1. Its near the end of Trading Session or 2. I stop and reverse. This has help me tremendously with my previous problem of taking early profits.

If you are using a 1 minute chart you can plot a tick chart and use time<>time[1] you can construct your own minute bar from ticks.

I think this suggestion is a great enhancement to IB feed, without it losing its advantageous. But since you guys brought up the issue with timing, would it make sense to add in timestamp to the messages if they decide to make this change ?
