A few health tips for traders...

To come back to the original subject of this thread. The surroundings of Chiangmai are excellent for hiking in the mountains. I do this now 3 times a week. Along the way I take a dip in a waterfall-pool to cool off. My fitness is allready skyrocketing in just one month. I have allways been...

Can the obese young and the slim and fit elderly go there as well in your opinion? And what if an obese elderly just goes there for the sea and the food or a fit and young guy goes there to have fun with girls?

I can agree with some of the above mentioned. Thailand is a wonderful place to live ( I live there myself, in Chiangmai in the North) but Pattaya would be my last choice. To spend a weekend there can be fun sometimes but everywhere else in Thailand you have nicer people, more beautiful scenery...

Social liberals in my country (Holland) also like to decide for others how they should behave. So you are in good company. If prostitution is illegal in Thailand you surely are one of the few people who know about that. The thais themselves would be very surprised to hear about that as almost...

I agree with Ghost of Cutten. By the way people adress others in this forum it is not so difficult to determine who are the real despicable types here. It's not retaildaytrader.

I advise retaildaytrader to continue to live his life his way. You can be a "sick fcuk" and be perfectly healthy with it. Also you can grow very old with it. It should not bother too much as long as you're not being harassed about it continuously. But that last thing is avoided easily.

O.K. If there is human trafficking then that is hidious of course. The BBC link you post also mentions Holland for example. I can assure you that it is really unknown to most people, like here in Thailand. This problem will certainly exist but the boys and girls who make some extra money here...

O.K. I didn't see that pic. But it is true that prostitution is age old and very common in Thailand and western clients are only a small percentage of the clients, less than 10% I read somewhere. How do you know that the vast majority goes for minors? All those boys and girls who sell their...

Are you out of your mind? Where did you see or read something illegal from his part? I'm not very fond of Pattaya either. But people going there and enjoying themselves with prostitutes are not automatically complicit of crimes which might be committed there.

"Are you smarter than a top M.I.T. Grad?" I think so, yes. They mostly can't trendtrade for example.

Tulip trend ( futures )fund classes down 10-12 % in May

Could you google this for me as well, where it says that Superfund lost 32% last month? :) In the article you quote, it just says they lost 24% in 2009 and 6.9% in the five months ending May. Or do you mean put together? Then it would be a little over 32% since the beginning of 2009 up until...

Tulip trend ( futures )fund classes down 10-12 % in May

Don't despair. I am just human. But you are right, they are a trendfollowing fund. Not too good by the way. Their max DD is a little too high in relation to their annual growth rate. But still they make more money than most as it appears.

Tulip trend ( futures )fund classes down 10-12 % in May

Some trendfollowers don't worry about clients. They simply trade. From the article I don't get this Superfund is trendfollowing. It might be though.

Some trendfollowing methods can have large DD's as well. Mostly when they are hugely up and are giving back profits. With trendfollowing your equity becomes extremely volatile when you are sitting on large profits.

You can get money from ATM's almost anywhere. Then you get the local currency right away and that's always accepted.
