It didn't feel like an ED to me too... lacks that impulsive thrust.... :) We may have different labelling, but I have a similar target of about 1028 in the ES. Anything below 987 and I'll have to jump on an alternative count. :D Let's see how Mr Market unfolds....:) ESU9 Daily

The "dull mess" looked a little like an ED "C" wave to me, so if it repeats itself again, then we could be hitting your 990 target..... then resume its upmove.... :)
