your right I don't know much. I have never even traded options except for CME, CBOT and LIFFE options. I was going on volume and where best to get filled but obviously you know best since you make so many replys.

Don't trade electronic options stick to the pits. Even on Eurex and LiFFE.

CME would be trading on the floor. Globex is trading electronic.

All this has been a big help. I feel a lot more comfortable with the CME. My rates are good and I can trade basically 24 hours on the system. I have been trying to sleep so that really doesn't bother me that it only trades 23 hours a day.

How about Faces? That was fun when it was happening.

Is it that much better to trade Forex vs. THe CME currency products?

As they say. You get what you pay for.

The best way to make a decision is service. If they both have about the same fees then look at service.

Are you trading futures or equities? What type of rates are you looking for and how many RT's are you doing in a month? All this will help you make the right decision on what company to go with.

What city are you trading out of?

Goldenberg is a very respected firm. What are you looking for in a firm?

All those firms that have been mentioned have been around for quite awhile. Your money is safer with them then it would be with Enron or Tyco.

Do they have market depth on their software?

May be they are doing their own execution via the electronic trade. I doubt it but it is a thought.

There are 2 firms that trade out of London. GH Financial and Goldberg Heymeyer. I am sure they ahve websites. What are you looking for?

I know a lot of prop firms that trade some serious size. I would like to see some of these guys try to get out of a 1000 lot emini. That could be ugly.
