Anyone Trading Crypto Futures on Binance?

That's utter bullshit, of course. The reason why nobody wants any US clients is the citizenship tax. If you want to onboard US clients to your financial service you'd have to report to the IRS which is a huge hassle. So as a matter of fact no: - non US Hedgefund - bank outside the US -...

Anyone Trading Crypto Futures on Binance?

because US citizens are not allowed to trade crypto derivatives. You can trade spot as much as you want but as soon as you onboard to any derivatives exchange your application will be rejected.

If you had to start over...

Well, yes and no. While you're right when you say that you cannot negotiate the trades in person, you still have to be conneccted in this business to make it. Take negotiation out of the equation, it's basically a matter of scouting bids, figure out where the market really trades and buy below...

If you had to start over...

@David's faith if you have a newcomer who you need to teach, cut away the charts, the math and the execution software. give him 5k and let him arb craigslist all day. It's the same basic principle and teaches him the value of grunt work/research, how people actually transact and how stupid...

    ISO futures trading brokerage

why on earth would you want to use NT as your execution tool? They're literally the worst futures trading platform out there. If you are serious about this busines, make the switch and save yourself a lot of headaches. I also was on the NT path for about half a year when I started to automate...

box spreads versus exchange traded financing

I don'T really know but didn't TOS already have that feature? A P2P spread book, I mean? I never traded via TOS but somehow I remember reading about that feature. On the other hand, you can always use RFQ if your broker is decent and you have access to directly trade against a wholesaler

box spreads versus exchange traded financing

Not quite. It all depends on the timing of the exercise and the synthetic forward. If you are long the combo at 8% synthetic borrowing rate and the rate increases to 80% you're pretty fked. An early exercise would be nice in that situation because you can cash in the discount right away... But...

box spreads versus exchange traded financing

careful here, I've done that quite a lot to arb borrowing rates and got occasionally burned. If the stock gets halted, the options are halted as well but the right to exercise remains intact. So if you are long the combo and the stock is in for a halt...let's say because of a fraud...

box spreads versus exchange traded financing

it's absolutely not possible to get close to market rates because securities lending is heavily regulated. This in turn costs a ton of money to facilitate the red tape so anyone who forwards you the lending rates 1:1 would be out of business by the end of the year unless you are charged on...

box spreads versus exchange traded financing

not quite. If you want a credit from the market by using something else but your cash balance (or tresuries), how would you handle that? If you just want margin as leverage by using your cash balance as colateral, that's your brokers business and they wouldn't want anyone to cut them by trading...

box spreads versus exchange traded financing

Because trade financing is basically a p2p business which requires due diligence, a risk department to evaluate counterparty risk, collateral management and calling in additional collateral for when you get in trouble. Let's say you want to borrow a million from the market, who is gonna watch...

Why Americans haven't been convinced on cryptocurrency

you guys are mixing things up. The majority of big players in crypto are U.S. companies that trade via offshore entities. Nobody and I really mean not a single rats ass cares about U.S. retail clients. They were prohibited from trading where the most volume is right from the start because...

    SUPER NEW to options!

@generategambler_xx First lesson: take your time, really. This stuff is so complex that you can learn for years without getting anywhere. Second Lesson: Pay attention to detail. Always. Especially when it comes to margin, exercising and the math around options. Probably a good lesson for...
