Any updated thoughts on AMD? I’ve been looking at trading it for a while now but I still can’t get a good feeling on it.

Can you give an example of this? I tend to only use one backtesting platform so I’m curious if you’ve ever tried importing the same data into two different platforms, running the same code, and getting two different results. Doesn’t seem possible.

Don’t most trading platforms run on Windows? You’d have to figure getting a license for Windows as well on your MacBook Pro… Don’t get me wrong, it’s sleek hardware so I can see why it would be good, but there might be cheaper alternatives that have a 512GB SSD built in, etc.

+1. There are systems that do indeed work, but they involve a lot of analysis, backtesting, and so on. I certainly don't understand every movement the market makes, but there are some strategies that you can use to get an edge. The important thing to focus on is the system, not "gut feelings".
