Today was a great day for me Protrader. However I sat back with my lentil soup and a hard boil egg and poland spring water and watched the numbers on my screen screen get bigger. Shorting HC, TYC at opening and my overnight short on CRA made my lentil soup tasted so much better. I even put some...

    Coaching - a must?

I believe this is one sport that you are going to have to refine and adjust and re refine all by your lonesome. I agree it's very important to surround yourself by successful traders as opposed to a coach which by the way I never ever heard of a trading coach. If they are out there and are...

Traits of a top trader Re: Wordlco

Hey Hitman let me know if Goldman hires you, because that will be another company I will short the living crap out. Although I doubt I could short the living crap out of a company that big. The day Goldman Sachs hires a trader without a college degree will be the the beginning of the end for...

Hitman one other piece of advice ---If you go on the interview at Goldman Sachs try to keep your mouth shut you'll stand a better chance of getting the job. Just kidding --good luck.

Well we will both be 50 someday Hitman me a little sooner than you but I hope we will both be healthy enough by then to enjoy what we love doing the most. It's getting late and I'm going to sleep now so I can be fresh for tomorrow's fun. I really hate long weekends it drives me crazy. Had to...

Traits of a top trader Re: Wordlco

Hitman I believe equity trading is definitely a young mans game. Particularly when one is just starting out. With that said your comments do reveal an immaturity that is not reflective of a someone that should be managing other people. Just my opinion take it for what it's worth.

Traits of a top trader Re: Wordlco

"There is one thing I have that no amount of pearl will add up to, and that is youth, something you wish you still have but you no longer possess." With that type of thought process Hitman I can't imagine why anyone would turn down the opportunity to be under your leadership. Your team must...

Hitman ---I guess recruiting will help offset your trading losses. Nothing wrong with supplementing your loses with an alternative source of income. In fact it seems to me your recruiting skills are allot better than ----well you fill in the blank.

I'm sorry Requirement # 2 can be negotiated with the amount of Requirement # 1 you put down. Thanks for the correction Rigel. Hitman have you tried out for the Worlco cheerleading squad. I understand those Pom Poms are adorable.

Traits of a top trader Re: Wordlco

As I indicated in my prior post: I believe you must meet three requirements before you can trade or be recruited there and they as follows: 1: you have to have some money to put down 2: You have to be breathing 3: You have to have a few fingers to be able press the buy or sell keys...

    Worldco LLC

"Tell us, do you recruit swing traders, and intermediate term traders? Do you recruit people whose strategy involves taking major position trades (major relative to thier buying power)?" I believe you must meet three requirements before you can trade or be recruited there and they as follows...

    Worldco LLC

Correct me if I'm wrong here but why in the world would anyone plop down $30,000 of thei hard earned money. First of all and once again correct me if I'm wrong but that $30,000 technically is not your money anymore. If for any reason Worldco faces a financial problem or goes belly up you can...

"either I go top tier or I sell hot dogs on Wall street, nothing in between". Now come on Hitman will you really sell hot dogs on Wall street and if you do I hope you don't keep the ones you didn't sell in your bathtub so they can be fresh for the next morning. Maybe you could sell those to...

Also if anyone believes another company may have questionable accounting or reporting practices let me know. After all their may be more companies hiding in those dam bushes. I will let you know what research I come up with. Together we can weed these companies out.

I'd like to know what other companies out there might be involved in questionable accounting practices? I'm sure there might be other companies out there hiding in the bushes. Any opinion or information would be greatly appreciated and I certainly would follow up with my own research.

Hitman, I think you may want to think about going to college and getting an education so you have something to fall back on if trading doesn't work for you. After college you can always go back to trading, the markets will still be there and at least you will have a degree and a little bit more...

Hey Candletrader I can't speak for the whole board but I believe the majority of us appreciate the time you took to analyze and offer your views on some individual trades. I found your ideas helpful and I hope others did as well. Thanks again for your time and your generosity.

Limbo you made several interesting points. The bottom line here is ego. Those who shut other peoples's views out are in my mine just hurting themselves. Actually it boils down to being stubborn and it's my opinion those with a big ego and who are stubborn can and will not succeed in this...
