you seem like you know what you want. I am sure that you have heard this all before. But you should not care what others think. If you think that 1. ET is doing you good or that 2. you are helping others (thus, supporting #1), then I suggest that you stay. IMO you should stay!

yes - but are you limited to EOD data? Intraday (specifically, user defined interval) backtesting on a group of stocks is what I think was being initially addressed. At least, that is what I would like to see. and yes...a lot of XL crunching with the RINA outputs contained in TS6, but still...

At one time, someone posted a "shortcut(?)" that allowed one to input a new symbol into multiple charts in a workspace by typing it (a special way) into only one of the charts. anyone?

THe automated feature works fine, IMO. Just make sure that teh sutomated strategy does exactly what you want (i.e. back test before you select the automation option).
