    Economic Cure, The Rennick Solution

I agree that asset deflation was inevitable-hell the Nikkei topped in 1989 and from a macro standpoint the U.S. stock market topped in March of 2000. The PRIMARY REASON the banks were bailed out (and it's far from over) was because of the FDIC's lack of funding. Non-depository institutions...

    Economic Cure, The Rennick Solution

Who was Clinton's Treasury Secretary? How hard did he push for the repeal? What did he do virtually the day after the bill was signed? Why is his name never uttered anymore by tools like you?

POLL: Index futures traders, would you prefer a larger or smaller tick size?

Buy the bid, sell the offer? All the time. (we're spreaders)That doesn't mean it sticks though. But if you look at t&s you see hundreds trading in and out on the bid and offer all day. My firm would prefer as wide a market as possible. "Giving up the edge" is a pretty well known term. It...

Health Insurers cutting their own throat

But then u whine and bitch if an insurer won't allow you to transfer risk on the cheap? You sound like a duplicitous idiot. On one hand "you need 5mil to self insure" but on the other hand you think insurance companies should write open ended policies for $79 a month. LMFAO. Or maybe Big...

Man bulldozes down his own home due to foreclosure

The title of this thread is wrong. The bank WAS NOT foreclosing. The bank was seizing the property because of an IRS forfeiture.

Health Insurers cutting their own throat

I think given the risk, health insurance premiums are pretty cheap. Would YOU be willing for a grand a year in revenue, to payout a half million dollars if that 21 yo is in a motorcycle accident or shot? I wouldn't. And yes even 21 year old people can require expensive operations. So for...

    Fed Raises Discount Rate

The rate cuts in response to the 1987 and 1998 crashes signaled huge rallies. The Volker rate hikes in 1980/81 led to much lower stocks.

Campaign to Pull Glenn Beck Off the Air Gains Momentum, Here and Abroad

I'm working my way through Elite Trader site for the first time. (had to register in order to use the search function) Psychology seems to be a good forum-the political forum not so good. I've only heard Beck in passing, actually I'd never even heard of him at all until a few months ago...
