    Trader P/L 2006

252.00 on 4200 shares got a little over zealous w/ a trade, but I had to let it run. Rules state that today I should have stopped at $50 to keep my big swinging down to a minimum, but again, I have no patience.

-1513.84 on 32,494 I went from Celine to Paula..."I take two steps foreward, you take two steps back...." I was wrong on nearly EVERYTHING today. 3rd biggest losing day ever. Tomorrow's goal-to-quit is $50 due to my rules - hopefully this will keep me from swinging for the fences.

As promised. Goals for next month: 3 consecutive $50 days $100 daily average for trailing 30 days. Missed average daily profit goal last month by $27! Not so bad!

322.96 on 7600 shares was down $400 in the morning and made some really good trades in STLD and WEBX by being patient. That's a new concept for me, yeah? Great confidence boost and a super way to end the month and sharty quarter! Next post will be trading stats for the preceeding month

-407.30 on 3800 Over traded. The smartest thing I did today was quit about 1:30. I was swinging for the fences because of yesterday's big take - next time after a big take, I'll keep my next day's goal at $50 and quit! Broke my 6 day profit streak, too :(

276.00 on 4200 shares Pulled money out of GOOG like it was nothing today. Great trade on LIZ really boosted me. Best day in quite a while. I've got this Celine Dion song in my head, "...it's all coming back to me now......"

$51.40 on 1200 shares Back from Chile, and got some trading in. Really light volume today, even for me! I was two bucks short of my goal until the last 30 seconds. That's three dollar profit on the PLAY short was what got me there. 5 profitable days in a row, now. This makes me feel...

    Trader P/L 2006

68.20 on 4800 shares one bad trade put me in the negative, but I dug myself out. Nothing spectacular. Actually, it was kind of boring except for the first 30 minutes. I'm off to Chile. No trading shall be done next week. See you all on the flip-side :-D

    Trader P/L 2006

$200.00 on 8700 AZPN was taking a huge dump, so I got in. However, like always, I got in too early. I kept buying at key points just KNOWING this thing was coming back. Eventually, the dumping stopped, and the price started creeping back. Again, my jumpy nature took over and I exited at...

44.29 on 4408 shares Exciting day - not like yesterday. On Lend to quote my journal: "Noticed a possible breakout, but spread about $.10 and no executions at the bid. So, I put in an ask .05 below the current on. I did this to bring the ask down so I could get long. But, someone filled...

    Trader P/L 2006

130 on 4700 shares Nothing spectacular today, but I'm EXTREMELY happy to have a profitable day. I had to dump 100 AAPL after the bell in order to avoid a REG T because I want to hold OSIP until the morning. Other than that, eh....

well taken. I think I might add in something about PnL/Shares Traded any specific thoughts?

    Goal Checklist for Struggling Trader

It is quite hard to put measurable goals on setups - PnL is much easier. How would you suggest goals be written in this manner? After all, goals are pointless if they are not clear and measurable.

    Goal Checklist for Struggling Trader

hey, good advice, I think. I usually cut my size down, but I don't put myself on a time frame like that. You know, it's funny that I am rarely emotional because of trading, but feeling bad usually makes me trade poorly. I think your plan may help some of that. If you notice, the goals have...

    Goal Checklist for Struggling Trader

I agree with the goals being results oriented. In fact, they're intended to be. The way my positions are formed are detailed in the rules referenced in that document. I'll take a closer look, though, and see what I can do to allow for "learning" goals (in essence). What I may preventing is...

-98.70 on 9868 shares See what one stupid trade will do? Sheesh. Well, I basically paid tuition today, because I learned something incredibly valuable. I AFFECTED THE PRICE OF WEBX!!!! (at least a little bit) I had a sell order up. The spread was nearly .10 with no orders being...
