yes thanks very much. i know other people that are running the router and have the same cable company(shaw) and they aren't getting these malware hits. i am using Interactive brokers and making that work properly is my primary concern so if you recommend a router? cause with that stuff i know...

hi.yes the isp is using dhcp but im not using a router though. i tried shutting down the modem for a few hrs but that didnt do anyhting but i will try overnight next. im using high speed cable with shaw.thanx

look for the dumb trades that buy/sell with the wide spread.its like they dont care.or they are getting forced out.july is interesting. :)
