Wow -- the new MultiCharts beta is GREAT

Andrew, I have attached the snapshot files for QuoteTracker and Sierra showing that this function works in these software. I have used the same date and price range as I used in the snapshots in MultiCharts, so that we are comparing like with like. The trendline is drawn on the monthly chart...

Is there a good alternative to Quotetracker ?

I did send them an e-mail about this. They thought that it would not be possible to do, and they did not think any other software was able to. I then gave them a list of all the software that were able to do this and I haven't heard back from them yet. Hopefully they decide to try and implement...

Is there a good alternative to Quotetracker ?

Is there a good alternative to Quotetracker ?

I decided to have a closer look at QuoteTracker, and I can tell you, I'm very impressed. It does have a scripting language that you can do a heck of a lot with. It does not have the flexibility to do absolutely everything, but it would suite most people's needs. According to the website...

Is there a good alternative to Quotetracker ?

Maran looks good, but very buggy, and looks like it's in the early stages of development. Amibroker looks very good except for a couple of features that don't work. If these are taken care of, then it should be a very good option. Quotetracker looks pretty good for what it does. If it had...

Wow -- the new MultiCharts beta is GREAT

I just briefly looked at MultiCharts today and found a bug within the first few minutes and then didn't bother continuing. Take a monthly chart and draw an extending trendline that touches price at a few points. Switch the same chart down to weekly and then daily. Notice that the trendline...

Tick, Minute, Volume, Momentum Charts - which do you use?

It's surprising. Not as many people use tick charts as I thought might.

Tick, Minute, Volume, Momentum Charts - which do you use?

If you use Tick Charts, how many ticks per bar do you use and why did you choose that figure?
