macal425,
We have had no reports similar to this today. If you send me a PM with your user name and a few examples of the times you were seeing the gaps, I can research this further for you.
Here's the smallest I could feasibly get it. You could make it even smaller by removing the Time column (right-click columns to do so.) If you need the Ticker, you can add it back by selecting Market Depth Options. The file can be downloaded from here.
Thank you for the suggestion. I know the developers are reworking EFS and the Formula Wizard for eSignal 8.0, so I'll be sure to mention this to them as a needed enhancement.
There is a way to approximate the scaling (even on 7.2). If you drag your mouse in the Y-Axis area, then this would adjust the scaling. Please also know that with eSignal 7.5 we will have more controls available for better axes management. This should be out in September or October.
At this point, the build number is not listed on our Download page. During beta testing phases, we commonly have sticky post at the top of the "7 Series Beta" forum on the eSignalCentral Forums that lists the current build and where to download it.
I will make the suggestion to include the...
MiamiBeach,
We were mistaken in our earlier post. At this time, there isn't a way to add/subtract a straight value into a spread. It needs to be tied to a symbol to be added. I do know that this enhancement is on the list to be added, and hopefully we can get it in the next version or two.
Not directly within esignal, however I would suggest looking at Trade-Ideas' website. They have a very large selection of real-time alerts available to integrate within eSignal. Gap Up/Down, Gap Reversals, False Gap Up/Down Retracements... great stuff, in my personal opinion.
I know Neil is already aware of this, but for the benefit of others, the answers to this question can be found at this eSignalCentral thread.
Sounds very interesting. I know this can be done easily using EFS (eSignal Formula Script), however EFS cannot yet be applied to a Quote Window or...
Here's a summary of our ActiveX Interface. Regarding your question about price it can vary based on your needs. Here's a post on eSignalCentral that discusses this further. Any questions regarding our ActiveX Interface, can be best answered by emailing activex@support.esignal.com.
Just to throw in another 2 cents, eSignal now offers an ActiveX interface, so that our data can be integrated with a VB, C++, Java, Python, etc. More information about this can be found at http://www.esignal.com/esignal/features/activex/
I believe there is some confusion here. eSignal has had and will continue to have direct feeds from every U.S. domestic exchange. With the recent acquistion of Comstock by our parent company Interactive Data Corporation, we plan on extending our international exchange offerings.
Please know...
Yes, the risk-free trial can be setup on the delayed package to avoid exchange fees. You can either sign-up online using the link from my last post, or through our Sales group. I'll drop you a PM on the latter route.
chinook,
I would encourage you to try eSignal's 30 day risk-free trial. If for some reason, our product does not meet your needs, then cancel and you get all your money back (excluding exchange fees).
We do sometimes have negative comments on the boards, however I believe there are many...
I'm not aware of any way to do this, except for as you mentioned hitting enter on a linked Quote Window or have 50 charts running minimized in the background (not recommended).
I assume the reason for pre-loading the data is to decrease the time it takes to change from one symbol to another.
theprophe,
Have you seen any noticeable improvement on the Eurex, since we implemented the new feed last week? Anyone else care to share their experiences with the Eurex data on eSignal within the last few days?
