Certainly a reasonable request. We haven't added global alerts yet in eSignal 11, but we'll add this to the list of alert enhancement items being considered for a future release.

It was brought to my attention that I was mistaken on my earlier post on the eSignal Beta forums. While it is true the servers do not yet fully support 60-minute bars from 9:30 - 16:00, eSignal 11 does already handle this by dividing the requests up into two chunks. 60-minute bars where needed...

    eSignal 11 Preview

Currently, the Data Manager is untouched and both eSignal 10.6 and 11 can be run concurrently without interfering with each other. We do have plans on dramatically improving the process of sending data from the servers to the products, but I can't say too much more beyond that right now.

    eSignal 11 Preview

Most, if not all, of your suggestions are on our to-do list for trading integration. The team is hard at work on migrating existing features right now to the new platform, and once that is complete, they will move onto enhancing the product. While the preview is an amazing package right now...

    Euronext futures other than eSignal

Belmondo, I think you have some misinformation about eSignal's services. Euronext certainly carries a large amount of historical data and contracts are available after expiration. Try ECO 1!-ENC a continuous contract symbol that strings together the historical data from one contract to the...

Thanks for the feedback sculptor. To clarify, we are definitely not abandoning the current EFS structure / syntax. We are simply improving the various way to get at it with various IDE items (wizards, editor, etc.), new functions and extending current functions for increased flexibility.

    eSignal 11 Preview

eSignal 11 is written in C++. As far as EFS / Studies in a Watch List (i.e. Quote Window), we are looking to do this, however we are currently in a migration mode of bringing features over from our desktop applications. After these stages are complete, we'll be very active on enhancements...

Yes. The application is multi-threaded and is incredibly fast on a Core i7/i5/i3 system. The whole application was written from the ground up, and most of the data layer is new as well. The eSignal Data Manager is present in the new app (a key data component to the eSignal network), however...

eSignal OnDemand Enhanced with Tick Charts

I'm pleased to announce that we have enhanced certain eSignal OnDemand packages to now include historical tick data. Based on the feedback we have been receiving, it was clear that one restriction was inhibiting the usage of eSignal more than what was intended, i.e. historical tick data. In...
