I'm pretty sure my EFX live quotes froze around the 10am news. I know for a fact the TDFX feed to eSignal did for a good 10-15mins. I pulled up my EFX platform near the end of that time span and prices seemed to be stuck but I can't be certain for how long.

You can use whatever "system" you want to when using this software. Bottom line is that if offers some indicators that you can't find elsewhere which is why I use it. Also, you don't need to use the broker that Chris is an IB for but of course, you then need to pay for the software monthly...
