My request was simple ...... "Could you post a link to an ET post that you feel should have been "googled" first?" IMO ........ ET is far superior to google for any trade related questions. :)

Whats your opinion tomorrow morning on the /ES

The S&P500 (and its two friends the DOW and Nasdaq) influences ALL markets. :)

Whats your opinion tomorrow morning on the /ES

An inverse relationship is still being dictated by the dominate force, and that dominate force is the ES. :)

Whats your opinion tomorrow morning on the /ES

Overall market. As in the USA market The big three - Nasdaq, DOW, S&P500. Everything else follows the big three. :)

How to trade volatility next week?

I think a strangle/straddle would be OK Monday morning. Below is a QQQ weekly OTM strangle paper trade - lets see how it does. QQQ at $114.28. QQQ weekly OTM strangle. Buy 115.00 Sept16, 2016 call ask at $0.52. Buy 113.00 Sept16, 2016 put ask at $0.80. Total debit $1.32. QQQ target at expiry...

Could you post a link to an ET post that you feel should have been more appreciated? Could you post a link to an ET post that you feel should have been "googled" first? IMO .... both of the claims in the above quoted posts are unsubstantiated and I doubt learner2007 or optioncoach will be...

hedging a portfolio against a black swan

OK ..... I assume below is the post you are referring to. Buying DOTM puts. and/or Short some stocks. But if the "black swan" event never happens your solution could get very costly. :)

hedging a portfolio against a black swan

What would you guys do based on the OP? Keep in mind the "black swan" event may never happen (and this point is important). :)

hedging a portfolio against a black swan

Sell 20% of his (the OP's) portfolio for USD. I base that on the info in the OP. EDIT: Keep in mind the "black swan" event may never happen. :)

Why did both stocks and bonds crash on 9Sep16 despite the negative correlation?

Then why are you participating in this thread? :)

hedging a portfolio against a black swan

Could you be more specific? Hedging is a slippery slope - you have to balance cost to potential lost opportunities. :)

Thousand+ core cluster of Raspberry Pi

Add the power supply and you end up with a rather bulky device. I have a Raspberry Pi and it's no replacement for any other device - it's good for DIY projects only. I also have an Arduino Nano and UNO, which I program using the Raspberry Pi. :)

Why did both stocks and bonds crash on 9Sep16 despite the negative correlation?

But Fridays market routing was significant, current, and news worthy. What happened 10 years ago is history and distant memory. :)

hedging a portfolio against a black swan

That's correct, the OP can't procrastinate. Considering the timing of his post he obviously is concerned about a big market correction. Was today the signal to take action? If he waits too long he might end up selling at the market bottom. Decisions, decisions, decisions. IMO ...

Why did both stocks and bonds crash on 9Sep16 despite the negative correlation?

And buying USD (USD was slightly up today). Soon those USD will return to the market. :)

hedging a portfolio against a black swan

The OP wants to hedge/protect his portfolio from "black swans". My advice is to buy US dollars, ideally by selling part (20% perhaps) of his portfolio for USD. Any action has to be taken before the black swan event. :)
