Early short 4 ER2 eight min into open, covered 10 minutes later. Looking for some action on the QM at 9:30 EDT . . . or not.

Some chop, and some fear - instability, you gotta love it! Up on the ER2 today, had to scalp out of a small hole, then got short before the AM selloff (yeehaw).

Great market dynamics for ER2 short action (held overnight [yikes, I know]) which paid off though. QM went up, then down for a no-show. Gotta love volatility! check the VIX chart for today . . .

If you want the best advice - this is it. The QM, however, is quite volatile, and bounces around like a super-ball. Can be scary if you have a decent sized trade on. A small move can cost a lot. I think with 8 QM contracts (the multiplier is 500) each tick represents $100. But it can...

Correction: 1 SD @ 65; then 2/3 @ 95/99 respectively.

Dollar Cost Averaging, and scaling in are both good - but why not just place an order, set the stop at a point or two and cross your fingers? OR Trade options OR Move to the west coast where trading begins at 6:30 AM. That way, you can get two hours of trading in before work every day.
