What do you mean fireworks? Is that a colloquialism I don't understand? Do you remember what the thread subjects were? Has has a lot of posts and it would take forever to search through them. Did he give Ergodic settings?

ProfLogic, looking at your attachments, what is the difference between the big arrows and the little arrows? What is the reason you take *some* trades when the histogram is above the top horizontal line and then reverses slope and turns down, but not others when the histogram is above the top...

As I mentioned in my previous post, it doesn't make any sense to have the signal line AND the oscillator set to bar (histogram). They are going to override each other. The "Erg Osc" as it is called is just the difference between the Erg and the Signal Line, just like the histogram in the MACD...

If you do that, you will be setting both the "Signal line" and "Ergodic Oscillator" to histogram. It doesn't make any sense to have them both in histogram as they will override each other. The reason they default to "do not draw" is because people were only using the pure Ergodic by default...

Actually, it has Ergodic and TSI with the correct formula from Blau's works. Perhaps you meant it doesn't have any custom ProfLogic Ergodic yet?

ok so that's the blue/red line. Ok but what is the histogram made of? Is it a different Ergodic? Something else? It's quite detrended from the Red/Blue line. post it up!

You guys wanting Ergodic, it is also sometimes called "True Strength Indicator" (TSI). If your program has that, then you have Ergodic. My program has both. They're both exactly the same.

what is the line vs. the histogram on your chart? and if other people here have replicated exactly your ergodic indicator, why not just ask them for the code? PS. how big is your monitor :eek: i have a 22" wide screen and only half of your chart fits. lol.

have you ever used constant range bars? they do a good job eliminating chop and more importantly eliminating "tall bars."

Do you rely more on the ergodic itself or the signal line? Or the oscillator! (which most charting programs don't include)
