14th Post! Looking at the 10min MACD really shows no strong trending. Perhaps I can use that as an indication if the day's not panning out.

Do any agree? I wonder if this is the result of the Fed day? I guess to the experienced, if the day shows this behavior, stay out. Or trade the cross towards the Zero line? (that may be muddying up things)

The signals seemed to be crossed today. Zero line is attracting more than it's repelling.

I couldn't take 2points on that last move! 9:25cst. I guess I'm still trying to read the market. Considering the couple of days I only tood 5 ticks. I have to feel this out for quite some time.

T28, When you enter and the market does not move, generally how long do you wait before you get out? Do you have any rules around that?

I on 24 hour charting, And I have the time frame synced to CST. So 8:30 to 3:15 I believe.

Razor, My chart doesn't show Zero cross at open. But it has crossed above zero at about 9:20 CST T28, Did you scalp off that 3ma+2 break around 9:26CST? I thought that for the experienced that would have been nice considering the 10min MACD threatening to swing back across the Zero line

Went short around 10:40. I accepted a 5 tick loss(sim trade). I can see that that trade was asking for trouble due to lack of 10min support and the PA prior.

With my QT + IB My 2min MACD shows crossing prior to 9:40 and didn't cross above until about 9:44. Also the 3ma+2 had crossed below 9ma+2. I took another long trade around10:05 trying to anticipate the MACD cross by using the 3ma crossing the 9ma. Seems to provide an earlier signal whether...

Major Noobie here. Entered around 9:45 and got 10 minute stopped out. Worked nice! Only got 2 ticks so I need to work on my entry. I love the methodology.
