    ASX stocks

Hi johnny--Sorry I couldn't reply earlier. Thank you for the input...:) I have to disagree about volatility. One of the stocks I mentioned covered moves of 7-10% a day, but as I said the spread on CFDs was massive. Not to mention the easy to predict direction that made me have a deeper...

    ASX stocks

In the past I traded Ventracor and Perpetual Trustee trough CFDs. The tick size was pretty huge but the volatility in these stocks and others listed on ASX is quite amazing. I was wondering if anyone has ever traded these securities trough DA and can tell me what brokers offer access to these...

Help with getting started on DAX Futures

Yep, going blind at open is almost suicidal, much better to wait for some indications like price action, volume and direction. Usually after 5-10 min. you should already have a good idea of what is supposed to happen. On equities though, especially on earnings news related stocks sometimes I...

Help with getting started on DAX Futures

It sounds simple and evident but many don't want to enter at open because they are wrongly told by other traders it is a bad moment.

    fstrader's swing trade journal

On some occasions it is better to not place stops at all. Having them thight doesn't give you much probability of staying in the trade: usually 50% of my trades go somewhat against me before turning in my direction and 2-3 cents stp would put me out of quite a few profitable trades.

    looking for a trading firm

Those kind of returns are materially impossible on futures, I have to guess you are talking of percentage return on margin employed for your trades. And if so, it also would be quite extraordinary.

    looking for a trading firm

So, you are actually making more than 4% a day on a regular basis. Can you make a few examples of your winning trades? I'd like to know what stocks or commodities you are trading... ...I don't think you are into futures, or are you?

    highest move in currency

Not sure but I think W.Buffet was deeply involved in the '87 GBP move. The Central Bank couldn't stand the power of his billion dollar trade. Or was it '92?
