Smiling, beware changes in behavior. For whatever reason, right now the mornings are directional and most breakouts work throughout the day. That hasn't always been the case in NQ. It can go congested on you and take your money faster than you made it. It is good that you test. My experience...

Eusdaiki, trading 57 times is overdoing it a bit. 5-10, maybe, if you are sure you understand what is going on. You want to catch at least the 5 point moves, trying for any thing else is a losing proposition.

    Minimum Wage

A minimum wage is absolutely essential if we are to have cheap illegal immigrant labor.

    money flow today ?

That is generally where I put my proceeds when I bail from stocks funds, which is what I am about to do if the U.S. indices definitively break their channels. The only thing worth a shit now is foreign funds, and that only because the dollar sucks. I suppose gold's time is coming again.

    money flow today ?

Well if you were shorting tech YOUR pocketbook would see positive money flow.

Is IB's Data Good Enough For Scalping?

T-DOGG. I don't use IB for charting but their NQ bid/ask/last always matches E-Signal's perfectly and with no apparent lag in either.

    Slavery Reparations Gaining Momentum

My first ancestor in America was a WHITE slave, shipped to the colonies under the Crown Transportation Act for a 14 year indenture for proven petty theft and suspicion of murder (good genetics for daytrading, huh?). I want MY reparations! Since then all my folks was too poor to own slaves, and I...

Ah, a handle "newly acquired"! May we assume that you will be simplifying trading ideas by painting pictures for us?

To keep it technical, attached is the trade I was about to take. Been watching it develop for two hours, finally made up my mind. Drat!

T-DOGG, you are up past your bedtime! My excuse is that I am testing out a new code in sloooooow-mo. I am wondering what the guy on the NQ desk is doing. Studying remedial English? Working on his night-school law degree? Attempting to seduce pre-teen girls on the Web? I was just about to enter a...

There is no "live" NQ pit, only a large order "virtual pit" at the CME. But I am the wrong person to ask, perhaps someone who cares about such things can enlighten you. To me NQ is merely a grand and glorious Pachinko game. Like a slot machine, I know very little about the actual internal...

    spread vs volatility?

What do you think is better about ER2 than NQ, or ES for that matter?

A hint, possibly seditious: set the NQ T&S volume filter to 100. Better than watching Oprah. Or Jerry Springer. Or General Hospital.

    spread vs volatility?

If you can chart two issues together, look at NQ and QQQQon say, a one minute chart. I think you'll see a difference. My apologies if I am wrong, haven't done that for years, switched to NQ maybe 5 years ago.

Haven't traded the qubes for years, but I understand from posts here that there is difficulty shorting them now. No problem shorting NQ, it's all manufactured out of thin air, like printed money. Best thing about NQ IMO is the clean charts. Executions and reports are lightning fast, so TA is...

Trading for profit a fools game?

A correction, please. You don't "make money consistently trading". You "make money trading consistently".

    spread vs volatility?

Better to just dive right in, IMO. No record keeping requirements. Preferential tax treatment. S/R behavior that is not obvious looking at QQQQ. Clean T&S. No execution games. Leverage. Rarely any slippage.

Forgot one of the all-time best: Humphrey B. Neill, "Tape Reading & Market Tactics" from 1931, hahahahaha!

Take a look at NQ. New 0.25 point spread, 5 point moves common. Come play with us!
