GIGM. Why go long a stock when the forward eps for 2007 is projected to rise a scant 1%? Also there have been two huge volume dumps over the last five weeks. I don't see the momentum personally but I suppose that analysts can get it wrong.

Spydertrader, on your DTLK chart how are you determining the slope of your upward sloping blue channel lines? The only points connected by your channel lines are the one at the bottom of the chart and the last bar. Does that mean you drew the lines when the last bar was formed and if so why?

Monkman, I do not know why the Tradestation numbers are somewhat different. For me they generally seemed to track what I saw on wealthlab but the indicators may look different in charts that are scaled differently. If you come up with anything please let me know. Of course your entry points...

I have about 200 stocks on my watchlist for CANSLIM breakouts. I try to follow the rules such as buying withing 15% of new highs and waiting for proper chart patterns to form. There is always something breaking out. I use IBD custom screen Wizard to build my watchlist.

Monkman, I thought that was a calculation for unusual volume. It is the intraday percentage of volume as a percentage of the 65 dma of volume. Maybe I do not have the correct difinition of unusual volume. If I do not please set me straight.

ANDE and PEIX were just election day plays for me. Neither were in uptreands. ENER is my out of the box play. This concept of unusual volume ha helped me immensely. I have been trading for years with no real way to gauge intraday volume. I'm beginning to see the light.
