A firm to back me, really... Which won't screw me. I'm not averse to putting a small cash amount down though. A range of asset classes would be good but futures are essential, and equities would be nice. Any ideas?

Gents, I've searched for London prop firms, but most returned results are marketmakers or arcades. Can anyone suggest London-based (or intl firms with remote-trading capabilites for UK) prop firms that trade futures (and equities as well if possible). Many thanks.

I'll gladly sit the FSA exams... Its registering an FSA firm that will hurt my wallet. Any ideas of umbrella firms that could assist in this regard?

What about when one wishes to trade for more than 15 clients... On IB, one would need to be a 'Professional Advisor', which in the UK, entails FSA registration - very pricey! Any options/ideas...?

That's definitely a good idea. It would also be interesting to see where these firms have offices... I think it's time for us to have a segmented Prop firms list (excluding 'arcades'!)... Would gladly volunteer myself, but don't know enough I'm afraid.
