do the ES ever make patterns like this?

This is 6E. I feel like currencies do this all the time, random ass tall bars out of nowhere. Patterns like the one here are never seen on the ES. You can tell a currency chart because it looks like this. Normally this is the kind of thing that only happens in pairs. Do you agree?

Wait, is this actually how people scalp?

Can we record that on a display? It changes so quickly how can you know where the market is going in the next 30 seconds when the side with the most volume might change numerous times in that allotment.

Wait, is this actually how people scalp?

So 3 points profit and 20 points against you?

Wait, is this actually how people scalp?

For you guys who scalp, are you placing the orders ahead of time? Since if you use a market order you get a terrible fill, it's better to stick your order out there true?

Wait, is this actually how people scalp?

Regularly some posters talk about the way they scalp for 4 point target with a 10 point stop. Can't that seem like it's horrible? I thought scalping was when you were pretty sure of the immediate direction and you got in and out, maybe keeping it from going more than a few points against you...

if everyone loses money, why not do the opposite?

Let's make sure we are clear, must VWAP start at 0:00? I cannot get for my software VWAP to start at the opening bell, but it only starts at midnight.

if everyone loses money, why not do the opposite?

At each of the candles with circles above them on my chart is a point where price was 4, 8, 12, 16, or 20 levels away from vwap. I was just trying to gather statistics on how far it tends to get away. Why enter at 4 if it might go to 20 eventually in a bit?

if everyone loses money, why not do the opposite?

But, does this make sense? Price uses gets around 8 to 20 points away from VWAP. So just trade in the opposite direction when it does?

Might it be useful to calculate volume / range

So a ton of volume on a big bar doesn't mean the same thing as a mass of volume on small range. I made this.

if everyone loses money, why not do the opposite?

Because they can't predict movement. So take the other side of your own trades. Brilliant. Sporadically price travels away from VWAP for the whole day. I'm not sure what that is. As I was writing that I realized that 3 equal tops on 3 bars can be a triple top on some timeframe if you...

if everyone loses money, why not do the opposite?

Essentially I'm not saying to switch your buys and sells. That doesn't work. I'm saying, why not do the opposite of what most people do? If you get an entry and then you usually get stopped out, why not put your entry a few points away from where you would normally take it? Individuals...

    Does anyone trade the ZN?

During my search it said the word was too little so there were no results. Seems like it has different movement compared to the others. Why does volume pick up at 2am CST? Is anyone trading these short term? This is really an entire day.
