    How to hedge

In addition to what Xela so kindly and correctly told you, learn to read price movement and learn how to trade so that you have no need to hedge. And then a stop loss will be all you need.

    Trend Question (examples)

Try this: DO NOT try to apply TA (or what it is you use) to all or any given charts. Doing so will cause you to see what's not there. Instead, consider only those charts where the TA indication jumps out at you like something in a 3D movie.

    The best and worst indicators

That fact. without a doubt, would certainly apply to all worthwhile forms of TA, wouldn't it? Lack of sufficient study resulting in misuse, or even diligent study based on inadequate teachings, and the like result in the same 'bad rep' for TA as a whole that you mentioned for MACD.

Cis, the legendary Japanese day trader

I skimmed through his posts and if you were hoping to find words of wisdom that would help you in learning to trade or whatever, you would be disappointed. It's more just general market chit-chat.

The reason I dont use any indicators

You could fool the whole world!! I hope you're not neglecting to use your first language. I've found that using your native language so little for so long results in the loss of your idiom. Quite embarrassing when having to speak or write. Thank you for providing an explanation of your thoughts...

The reason I dont use any indicators

As I don't read as well as you write, I have to ask. Regarding the importance of entries, by 'long-term successful trading' do you mean the trader's success over a period of years, or successfully holding a position/trade for an extended period? If the former, I can only guess that you are...

FWIW Ichimoku Kinko Hyo is not used that widely here in the land where it was created. Maybe they realized that what the western world finds exotic ain't really that great! In fact it's not included in some of the local charting packages.

The reason I dont use any indicators

Right! Mine was breaking the habit of trying to find a way to trade every price movement under the sun. Took me a while to go from 10000 set ups in my plan to just 10!!
