Sorry for the smart ass reply. I think it is quite obvious that there isn't, and probably never will be a prop firm in your area. I was going to suggest packing up and moving a few hours east to Chicago if you are serious about this venture.

Like I said, about 10% actually make it in most prop shops. So it just takes a lot of hard work to get to the opportunity beyond the high commissions etc... From my experience probably only the ones who succeed in those situations are the ones who are actually cut out for it anyways.

I'm also an experienced trader who sent them an email. They responded by basically trying to push their "training" program on me. I didn't bother with sending any statements after that. It was pretty clear what they were after.

Once again its just another scam where all of the risk is put on the trader. The $2k or whatever they charge for their "training" is simply for the margin you will be trading with. So you are essentially trading your own money, and giving them a cut. Sounds pretty dumb to me...

No. From the looks of the website it's just another typical $5K deposit prop firm. I don't know anything good or bad.

What you meant to say is they are allowing you to risk your $5K you put in. I'm pretty sure they will let anyone trade with them who is willing to put up the $5K

I've heard they are legit, but their main focus was on the floor which is basically dead now. I'm not sure where they stand these days.

Anyone who asks this question obviously has never worked in a professional trading environment. The answer is HELL NO. If they did I'm pretty sure they would account for more than 1% of the people in my work environment.
